Books with Heart

Partners in both creative projects and life, writer Sacha Cotter and illustrator Josh Morgan (Te Aitanga-a-Māhaki, Rongowhakaata) create playful and imaginative picture books to delight, inspire & connect with children and their whānau.

This dynamic duo bring their trade-mark heart and humour to children’s books, television, music, performance and more.

They are best known for their children’s picture books created with HUIA, a multi-award-winning, Māori-owned publisher at the forefront of publishing in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

Their picture book THE BOMB (Cannonball in the U.S) won the prestigious Margaret Mahy Book of the Year at the New Zealand Book Awards for Children & Young Adults in 2019.
